Whether you have just invested in the drilling and installation of a new bore, or wish to evaluate/remediate an existing bore, Watersolve Irrigation can perform complete bore testing to confirm the volume of water available and how the bore performs under real-world pumping conditions. This is so that we can be confident that your pump selection is correct to provide the amount of water required and at the flow needed to irrigate and provide reliable water supply to the best level and to maximise output for your requirements whether they be for pasture, crop or livestock requirements.
 
Working with your drilling contractor, or independently – Watersolve Irrigation bore testing allows us to see how the bore recovers during pumping and after. This provides us with data to determine how much can be pumped out and for how long. For example the bore may be able to pump at 60 l/S but only for 4 hours at a time and then need 4 hours to recover; where from the same bore, you can pump at 50 l/S for 24 hours a day because this matches the amount of water coming into the bore from the surrounding aquifer.
 
Testing is done over an 8-10 hour period depending on results and how the bore performs. The bore is then developed to remove fine sands that has been caused during the drilling or remediation process. Once the bore has developed sufficiently we are then able to install the pump and commence irrigation. Watersolve Irrigation encourages all land owners that install a new bore to have a bore test done and complete development of the bore and not rely solely on the drillers information of a volume of water available.
